Ivana Mottram

I am a fully qualified and registered Play and Creative Arts therapist working as a play therapist since 2017 in various schools in South Wales providing support for children as well as parents/carers and teaching staff. With 17 years of experience working with children in educational and health and social care settings, working with children looked after and children on child protection register, I have gained a broad experience of working with children with attachment difficulties, anxiety, trauma, abuse, neglect, bereavement, loss, anger, domestic violence, self esteem, etc. 

As a play therapist, I believe in the power of play to help children make sense of their world, build positive sense of self and change challenging behaviours in a developmentally appropriate way: through play! 

 

As a certified Play and Creative Arts Therapist following ethical framework, I am accredited and associated with the following organisations:
